ANAHATA NEEDS YOUR HELP
Dear friends and fans, our passion-project ANAHATA will be 4 years old in April this year and during this time, we’ve learned and expanded a lot. Beginning with our very first video, the Hungarian cover of “Élan” from NIGHTWISH, people began to ask where they could help us grow, to support us (we appreciated the attention and kind-heartedness in such questions TREMENDOUSLY). Since we weren’t stable at all in 2015, nor were we posting regularly, we could not give a substantial answer.

But things have changed in 2018 when we began to post every two weeks and our project REALLY began to develop. This is when we realised that such a musical treatment (both visually and acoustically) requires a lot of time devoted to it. This is also when we remembered some of your absolutely GENEROUS questions and we finally have an answer now: PATREON.

Patreon is basically a web platform that allows the fans of all kinds of artists to pledge certain amounts of money to them either per creation or per month. And this is not all, dear friends, as with your aid we’ve also managed to shoot over the first milestone of 1,000 subscribers on YouTube and reach a cumulative view-count of over 240,000. Though our YouTube channel had been around since 2015 (since we participated in the Elan Cover Contest hosted by NIGHTWISH), we only started posting consistently in April 2018. It had taken some time for us to get things rolling but the pieces fell into place and we have no intention of slowing down :D <3 \m/.
Last year has also brought us what we consider two MONUMENTAL honours: the fact that the bands Bucovina and Brothers of metal official have shared our covers of their brilliant songs on their social media. This warmed our hearts and made us bow our heads in respect. In this New Year, we would like to THANK them again for their kind-heartedness and for their AWESOMENESS!!! <3 \m/
All in all, we’ve learned a lot and have been through a lot. Doing this while trying to sustain ourselves has often proven to be difficult but in the end, we persevered. Your part in this, dear friends, was instrumental, as we would have never carried on doing what we love without your support and your heart-warming comments. In the end, YOU are the heart and fuel of what we do! <3
We would like to THANK YOU for sticking around and for strengthening our drive. We consider this a family that is set to reverberate throughout the years to come. Plato’s words describe the best the final notes of this post and we sure would like to end it on a high one:
